About Course

Here at Blaze Team Church we take our services very serious. We know that we have 52 opportunities to invest in Believers. Each one of these opportunities are important and should be treated with proper forethought and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We divide the Service into 3 parts, lead by 3 different people. We refer to this person as the Master of Ceremonies 1, 2 or 3. Shorthand MC1, MC2, MC3.

  1. The Opening of the Service (Lead by MC1)
  2. The Ministry Part of the service (Lead by MC2)
  3. The End of the Service (Lead by MC3)

Leading a Service – Ministry (MC2) Challenge

The Second part of the Service starts directly after the Worship session and includes being lead by the Spirit and taking up the offering. It also includes handing over the Service to the Preacher for the service or leading the Testimony service. At some time or another as part of this time you will also do an Altar Call.

The Challenge includes a lot of actions but is focused on developing you in following the lead of the Holy Spirit with groups, how to do a short teaching, Microphone control and exploring your gifts to be used in larger groups.

Course Content

Leading a Service – Master of Ceremonies – Part 2
One of the most important parts of your spiritual growth is to understand and follow the lead of the Holy Spirit. By now you should be experienced in listening for the lead of the Holy Spirit in your personal life. Your next challenge is to lead a service while listening for the Holy Spirit to ensure the service is directed as the Holy Spirit intends. Although you have successfully started a service this part of the service will rely on your confidence and leadership.

Altar Calls
As part of the duties of leading the Second part of the service, Altar Calls is something you will have to be able to do.

Communion
Part fo the Duties of leading the Second part of the service is presenting the Communion.

Taking up the Offering
Part of the duties of MOC2 is taking up an offering.

Testimony
On weekends of Refreshment we allow our people to testify. This section will teach you how to safely share the mic with people to allow them to do testimonies.
