Topic for the following weeks

The principle seems simple enough but for some reason it remains difficult to practically achieve.

Being in one mind with your spouse seems difficult enough, but realizing that you are part of a specific body that should aim for the same goal almost seems beyond reach.

What does it mean to be of one mind?

How can we be of one accord?

Is this really more important than my daily affairs?

What is the reality around it?

More of these questions will be answered in our services in the coming weeks. I want to urge you to become part of what BLAZE TEAM is doing in these days. It is always funny for me to see believers entangled in the matters of future.

Someone once said. There are those that change the future and those who speculate on what it can become.

What type of person are you.

Join BLAZE TEAM as we enter the frontier of changing the future by engaging God’s plan for this wonderful country and our wonderful world!

I have been reading a lot of books this year……

I must say….. more than ever before in my life. Amazing how simple disciplines allow you to do the impossible in times when there is no time.

The book I am busy with right now, deals with leadership….. teamwork and being part of a team.

In the past few chapters a few things have been really truthful to me.
1. When there is one person…. being lazy or slacking or not measuring up to the rest of the team. The whole team is held back and will eventually overworked.

2. If there is one bad apple. Someone with a negative attitude in your team…. he will eventually make the whole group negative. Deal with him or her. confront them with love.

3. In order for any team to work there is a person needed. A person that goes far and beyound the call of duty. A person that is motivating the whole team. One that works harder than the rest. Appreciate that person and give recognition.

4 RECOGNITION RECOGNITION RECOGNITION

Well ……. I pray that we will become BLAZE TEAM..

Bernard

Weekend of Refreshment

8-10 May 2009

The following sessions are the ones I believe the Holy Spirit is impressing on my heart for BLAZE at this stage.

Saturday layout

13:00 – 14:00 Session 1 – How to trust God and be practical

Let’s be honest. It is a confusing situation we are in, normally. We know we should believe in God, and yet we also know that there is some practical responsibility on our side. I can’t pray, trust God for a breakthrough and do nothing, yet, when I do things it seems as if I am not really relying on God. We are all facing a lot of financial and lyfestyle challenges and this question is coming up in the hearts of many believers. Where is the balance. What can I do Biblically? How can I stand……. in Faith and doing what I know is expected of me?

This is an extremely practical session and will require a day, week and month planner. It is aimed at all believers and ensure lifestyle changes that will address all foundational problems in the pursuit of “living by faith”

Hab 2:4 “Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Rom 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Gal 3:11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

14:30 – 15:30 – Session 2 – Organism in Action

The reality is far beyound comprehension. Most believers simply do not believe in the Organism, we call Body of Christ. There is a common misconception, but also the ignorance around it. Most believers see themselves as part of the Body of Christ, but does not see themselves connected to it in any other way accept for accidental connection.

We hear the comment all to often these days: “I believe in God but not in the church”. We hear comments like: ” I don’t have to go to church to be a christian” and “I’m doing fine without the church anyway”

What is the real picture of the Church and is it different to the Body of Christ?

16:00 – 17:00 – Session 3 – Blueprint turmoil

After spending time with a lot of people concerning the basic foundation of their faith I have realized that it is a simple matter of misunderstanding the truth or …. in fact not knowing the truth. Most fruit that is dead is produced because of these basic fundamental truths that are not in line. Some truths make no significant difference, but there are some that can cuase turmoil. I believe in this session we will capture the top 10 truths that will cause turmoil if they are not in place.

The session is designed for the purpose of identifying these truths. Most lies in your life could be caused by not having these basic truths in your life. This will enable discussion and ideas of ministery towards your own disciples.

17:30 – Baptism

Please notify the office if you would like to be baptised.

18:30 – 20:00 - Soaking Session

In this session we focus on whatever God wants to do. We rely on the leading of the Spirit by everyone attending. Ministering towards each other and drinking in the manifested presence of God. Spending time in His presence around the gifts functioning in our lives. There is no sermon or teaching in these sessions ………..

Sunday layout

9:00 – Mothers day Service

This is a special service for Mothers day.

11:00 Family lunch

This bring and braai event is built around the belief that we should get to know each other better within the group. The Bible refers to this conduct a few times. We endeavor to spend time socializing around each other and would love you to join us. Bring a salad and whatever you would like to drink or eat. Looking forward to spend some time with you.

14:00 BLAZE Information session (Bis1)

This session is for people whom would like to get involved in BLAZE TEAM more permanently. MAybe you have been visiting for a while and would like to know more about the “why” of BLAZE. Any questions are welcomed and the session will paint a clear picture to help you understand what will be expected of you and what you could expect from BLAZE. Our Heart, goals and purpose is empasized in this session and will deffinately help you understand what we are doing. There is no obligation because of attendance! Feel free to drop in, just to know more…..

18:30 Celebration Service

Our evening service is set aside for our members to celebrate the theme of the month. Each celebrating it in their own way. We urge them to use their own abilities and creativeness in celebrating the theme. There is no teaching during this session.

Hope to see you on this WoR.

Amazingly enough, this year keeps on getting better. Although I don’t believe it, we are 12 weeks into 2009. Still slam dunk in the center of a wonderful winter. All the experiences we have are still saturated with the dryness and cold uncomfortableness of a wonderful Winter. The only thing that is secure in your Winter times is your ROOTS. They get even more secure while God’s breeze moves through your BRANCHES inspecting the source of your power. Are you plugged into Christ? Do you rely on the promises He has given, by simple faith? Can His promises alone be enough to carry you? Yes, Yes and Yes a hundred times over! His word is all I need. His word remains secure in all seasons. It is the only onshakeable. The only stable thing in all times. Should I remind you???? Hold on to Him and what He said, and you will never be ashamed!

I have been spending a lot of time telling you that there is a power at work inside of you. We have been spending time to guide you around the truth that Christ in you is all the answer you need. Now, for the first time I think you will understand the reality of the our system. Our whole spiritual growth system was built from that reality. A reality where you can’t do anything to be better. You simply allow all that you are to be manifested in your body. Are you ready to know how?

Discover your source. What we are. Why we were made. how we were made. DISCOVER

Allow God to use all the instruments He intends to use in our lives to work at full pace! Allow the pour of power to continue, that will change us. ALLOW

Understand what God is busy with in our lives. Know what He expects when and why. We need to build the right muscles in the right seasons so we can have strong backbones. UNDERSTAND

Develop the specific design God has built us with. We need to allow the instrument to be shaped to it’s full potential! DEVELOP

The answers to these questions is hidden in SEED, ROOTS, TREE TRUNK, BRANCHES. Get hold of the DVD and the book, if you can and start discovering these things. They will simply guide you into what you are already created to be. No effort….. not a lot of work. Simply BE!

a guide for all the partners of blaze, on all level

Isn’t it amazing, that God loves us more than we can ever deserve or even comprehend? He loves us, before we even had an idea that He existed. That is why He had to give His Son. He had to work the best plan to get us out of trouble!

Although we all heard this simple story, I am afraid, so many of us still don’t really grasp it!

Mostly, believers all over the world simply thinks that God is mad at us for something we can not repair (this is unfair). They try to become better at a hope of getting into His good books; so to speak. If they are really good they know they will be used by Him and then they will feel totally accepted. The problem with this belief is that none of it is true. God knows you can not be better! That is why He made a choice to give life to you, thereby placing you in the powerful position of “being able to”. God did not merely send His own Son so we can feel guilty when we sin, NO NEVER. He gave His son, so you can act and live in the same power as CHRIST! Sin is not your master, how can you struggle to overcome it?. Every authority is submited under His authority, and you are IN HIM. How can you be bossed around by “feelings”, sin, addiction, supernatural powers or even guilt, hate or unforgiveness. These things are a natural victory because of your position in Christ. Not because of effort?

There is no achievement in Christ, merely the discovery of what HE has already done! The discovery that you are already free from your temper, and your addiction. You are free from fear and free from lust. IN CHRIST. The living proof that we get this simple message, is the fruit we might call LIFE in CHrist.

Nag, Nag nag, lol

Why don’t you just focus on what God has already done, and what you already and have become? This week fast will help you with that. come on – give up somehting. Lay down that mixit. The facebooks, soapies, whatever. In the changing of your surroundings you will discover easily what you should have seen a long time!!!!

Have a great week.

We are currently entering the month of March. Spiritually we are getting closer to a time of "winter" and God is ensuring that we can grow because of a healthy foundation. What is March all about? What should we be focussing on and what can we expect? All in here.

Welcome to March …….

Exciting to think we are already in March of 2009. Week 10. This year, so far has been amazing. I am reminded of the word we started with this year, and now I understand how serious God was with it. Do you remember? Rise up, Get up, Move up ….. wow.

God has been Calling us to a new standard for quite a long time now. I never really understood what it implied, accept that He was expecting more. We get the same situation in the book of John Jesus says.
Joh 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

This is His standard. Bearing fruit. These fruit are all about the fruit of the spirit. I know that God intended for us to have an abundance. He has geared us with all the power possible, simply to bear fruit, in due season. Are you bearing fruit that suites your level of maturaity? I think this is precisely what God has been, yelling: “Your fruit does not suite!” Hey, I am a poet

This month of March is the month where we will specifically allow the Holy Spirit to allow us to become mature. We will be challenged to where we should have been and we will be ready to be “pruned” or “cut”. As long as we bear the fruit that, according to God, we should bear. But, how do we know if we should have been bearing some fruit, or not? That is simple. What has God been talking to you about? Those things should have been dealt with already. We should already have been bearing those fruits.

Have a great month, as we at BLAZE focus on bearing more and more fruit.

Bernard

God is busy to bring a new standard. Much more than I expected. Not just a change of doing but a difference in being. If you are keeping up, I am truly excited. I would firstly want to challenge you to ensure that people do not loose this. That you will have the compassion to sit with people to help them discover the powerful work of God in them. To allow them to catch up “if that is the right phrase”. The only way we will be able to move on, is if we respond to the Calling of God. Let’s move into Christ. Let us rest in Christ. Let us live in Christ. Let’s live from the power we have in Christ. Let us be …….. more than ever before a ……… “violent outburst of passion”

We are going through an incredible time. WoW. So many people are delivered from the attempt to be a good believer. Delivered from the attempt to live a righteous life.

I hope you are one of the people that has been delivered. Freedom is something we misunderstand more than anything. Most people think that we should focus on all the things we are supposed to do. This in turn, as they believe, will keep us on track. That is the old belief of before we were believers. God’s new laws stands against this opinion. Jesus said.

Love the Lord your God with everything in you and your neighbour as yourself! This will fulfill the whole law!

When you discover how much God loves you and what in is doing within you, you will live a life of a higher standard than you have ever experienced. Suddenly you will have more driving force than ever! You will be released into a driving force of “passion”. In actual fact. This is the heart of BLAZE. Living from a place of passion, instead of living because of responsibility and guilt. Live from passion.

I want to call you into Christ. God already called you, as a matter of fact. I just want to remind you that this is the primary Calling of God in your life. There is no other place to “BE”.

Come on…. let’s live! Come on….. let’s discover the power instead of just being lead by the Spirit, let’s live from the Spirit. Let’s be driven in the Spirit.

Let’s discover ourselves in Christ……….

This is a weekly guide for all believers but specifically written for partners of BLAZE Team. This guide will encourage believers to grow in certain areas of their lives in co-operation with their investment of their Elders.

In this week that is coming we are addressing a critically important thing.

As believer I know you must have been challenged many times to think that people that function in certain gifts of the spirit must be extremely mature – incredible Christians. The average view of believers that are functioning in the gifts are ——- WOW. This shouldn’t be. Anyone could not only, but should at all times function. This is the easiest part of Christianity. If you know how to receive from God, you will have the gifts and function in them.

The other important fact to remember is that the gifts can not be more or less powerful. The gift is not limited to you, although your faith could place a restriction on it’s ability. The thing you should focus on rather, instead of trying to get the gift to be stronger, is to get yourself to allow the gift to work at all times. When you are at work. When there is no worship. When there is no praise. When there is no christians around.

How about it. Seek God. Allow Him to address your Character. To work within you. Repent of things in your life that is stopping you from being an instrument ALL THE TIME. Come-on… you were made for it!
