Topic for the following weeks

The principle seems simple enough but for some reason it remains difficult to practically achieve.

Being in one mind with your spouse seems difficult enough, but realizing that you are part of a specific body that should aim for the same goal almost seems beyond reach.

What does it mean to be of one mind?

How can we be of one accord?

Is this really more important than my daily affairs?

What is the reality around it?

More of these questions will be answered in our services in the coming weeks. I want to urge you to become part of what BLAZE TEAM is doing in these days. It is always funny for me to see believers entangled in the matters of future.

Someone once said. There are those that change the future and those who speculate on what it can become.

What type of person are you.

Join BLAZE TEAM as we enter the frontier of changing the future by engaging God’s plan for this wonderful country and our wonderful world!

Ignoring the realities is not faith.

Act as if you don’t hear what people are saying to you. This is not faith. Rather it is fear taht God will not be able to REALY help you when things get tight! When there is real problems you don’t believe that God could help you so…… you try to turn the blind eye to problems and pretend they don’t exist.

Faith is understanding the reality of every problem, turning towards it and facing it! Simply because inside of yourself you KNOW that God will bring you through.

This attitude / mindset causes us to create problems in our lives. We don’t sort out problems when they arise and they grow bigger and bigger and then at long last, they drown us.

Last year in October we announced 3 new projects. Here is what happened to the projects!
I am trying to keep up with the posts on the blog. Here is some news!

Project 1 is BUILDING EFFECTIVE long term TEAMS
We have allocated the first 10 leaders for teams. We have already created a strong 15 step system to allow leaders to build effective structures for their teams. Each team is designed to fill a specific need. More about the teams in a different post. We are currently spending individual time with specific leaders to ensure that the system gets built from the ground up.

Project 2 is Making people involved in day to day tasks
We have already filled some critical positions with dedicated people. We now have 3 people working the data projector.
The band now has a basist and we also have people helping out with the upload of sermons to the website.
We are still in need of people that can do the following tasks. Sound desk operators. Administrative personel.
If you want to become involved in some of these simple tasks, please contact in any way you can.

Project 3 is Making Disciples
We currently have 3 levels deep disciples. Almost 30 people have been or is currently being discipled! We are making disciples effectively! Thanks for all the disciplemakers doing their part. Become part of the system. Make yourself available to be a a disciple.

As you can see. The 3 projects is ready and kicking.

We are going to upgrade our premises. Read more about it. How can you get involved?

This is a huge upgrade. We primarily want to change the internal part to make the building more effective for accostics. We currently battle with feedback and overhead amplification. This means in plain terms. In our church it is REALLY LOUD. Normally we are loud, but it is really loud.
This upgrade planning is for

Floor Carpets

Sound absorbing Curtains

a bunch of Accoustic Boards (1 x ,5meter blocks)

Stage

Although the primary focus will be on sound reduction it will also make our builidng warmer, more profesional and more BABY FRIENDLY.
So take long hard look at our current building because soon we will have an all new face.

PRAISE GOD!

If you want to become involved in thsi new facelift email, phone or message me on
bernard@blazeteam.co.za
084-5108967

We need assistance in building the stage, making the curtains as well as to build some walls and accoustic boards. If you are interested in investing financially, you can also contact us. God will provide!

What is in your heart will eventually come out. Keep yourself from sin by hiding the Word in your heart and guarding it. When the temptation to sin comes, make declarations concerning the issue you are facing as an indication that you have hidden the Word in your heart.

A.Your mouth is connected to your heart and what is in your heart determines whether a man is good or bad (Luke 6:43-45).

1.What you continue to speak will be planted in your heart and will overwhelm your life.

2.Habits and desires are created by where you focus your attention.

3.Eventually you will believe what you continually speak and it will be born in your life.

4.Nothing in life happens without a cause—good or bad.

5.Whether a man is good or bad is determined by what is in his heart. a.A man is not good or bad based on his actions. b.What is in a man’s heart will eventually be seen. c.Good treasure in a man’s heart produces good fruit and makes that man good. d.Bad treasure in a man’s heart produces bad fruit and makes that man bad.

6.Your outcome in life is determined by your roots, or what is in your heart.

B.Don’t speak idle or empty words (Matthew 12:36).

1.Idle words are words that have no meaning. a.For example: saying things you don’t really mean, or saying things that aren’t really in your heart.

C.The Word must be in two places—your mouth and your heart (Romans 10:8).

1.The Word works simultaneously in your mouth and your heart; it can’t just be in one place.

2.Don’t think you have faith just because you know the scripture; it has to be in your heart.

3.When the Word is in your heart, you have conceived it. Your mouth then releases the force of what you have conceived in your heart.

4.Grow your faith by speaking the Word.

D.In order to keep from missing the mark, you must hide the Word in your heart and continually confess scripture concerning the area with which you are challenged (Psalm 119:9-13).

1.Many times people continue missing the mark in a certain area even though they experience a level of success in overcoming for a period of time.

2.You must deal with the root of the problem rather than the action itself. a.Willpower won’t help you change your actions. b.You must operate the Kingdom of God process in order to change your actions.

3.When you take heed to the Word of God, you will build boundaries around the Word in order to guard it.

4.Cleanse your ways by building a fortress around the Word you’ve put in your heart.

5.Hide the Word in your heart by continually speaking it and meditating on it.

6.Don’t let the devil, situations or circumstances talk you out of maintaining your stance on the Word.

7.If you continually miss the mark, it means you have not put the Word in your heart and guarded it.

8.Deliverance is an ongoing process, not a one-time event. a.You must never think that you can slack up on guarding your heart. b.When you are faced with a tempting situation, the identification that you’ve hidden the Word in your heart is shown by the declarations you make from the Word. c.Grow your deliverance by speaking the Word.

9.God doesn’t tell you not to sin because He wants to spoil your fun, He just knows that sin will destroy your confidence and take you down the wrong path. a.Seduction is designed to kill you and destroy your life. b.Satan will seduce you through your emotions and then use your emotions against you. c.In order to get free from addictive behaviors, you have to plant the seed of God’s Word in your heart concerning that area; give God something to work with. i.Any habit that you are struggling with is a heart issue; you have to change your thinking.

E.God looks at a person’s heart (1 Samuel 16:7; Proverbs 16:2).

1.God is looking at what is in your heart. a.Example: Looking at a woman is not a sin, but the issue lies in your heart; when you looked at her, what was in your heart and what were you thinking about? b.To look at a person with lust in your heart is to miss the mark (Matthew 5:27).

2.Don’t deny your deliverance because of past mistakes and failures.

3.A pure heart always wants to get it right and has no underhandedness in it.

4.God looks at your roots.

5.God is not your enemy, He wants to help you; ask Him for help.

6.Don’t use the phrase “God knows my heart” as an excuse to keep sinning; make sure that what is in your heart is indeed good.

7.When the Word is hidden in your heart, whatever temptation is trying to come against you won’t succeed.

8.God weighs the thoughts and intents of your heart.

9.Hide the Word by speaking it, putting it in your heart and allowing it to change your thinking.

10.Don’t let the enemy defeat you. a.Don’t beat yourself up when you miss it. b.When you miss it, repent, which means to change your direction; turn away from that behavior. c.Don’t let guilt and condemnation keep you from moving forward.

Scripture References: •Luke 6:43-45 •Matthew 12:36 •Romans 10:8 •Psalm 119:9-13 •1 Samuel 16:7 •Matthew 5:27 •Proverbs 16:2

I am challenged with the idea that the Kingdom can not be taken by grace, rather by storming it.

Aggressively taking the Kingdom is the only way we will possess it. Just like no kingdom in the past could be taken into possession without force. The Kingdom of God can not be taken without it. The Kingdom of God needs to expand. The Kingdom of God needs to advance. We have to take more souls, we have to take more ground and we have to take more finances and resources. There is no way to take without force.

We are called the soldiers of the Kingdom for a reason. Sorry ladies, but there is nothing ladylike to being a soldier!!! This is where the manliness of God is reflected. We are soldiers for war. Battling for the Kingdom ground. No weapon formed against us shall prosper does not mean no weapon will be formed. The Kingdom life is not for the fainthearted, but for the brave. This is truly the kingdom of the brave.

Casey treat says. We have a battle of faith. Without faith there is complacent lifestyle. Without faitht there is a waste of time and energy. The life of a believer (of faith) is lived, only with a violent attack of force.

If you don’t know what you want you can not fight for it. If you don’t know what God told you to do, you can’t fight for it. If you don’t know what you have to stand on, you can’t stand.

Think about it.
Let’s storm the Kingdom ……. let’s take some ground!!!
Bernard
