This questionnaire enables Christians to take a look at the TREE TRUNK they currently have in place in their lives. TREE TRUNK is the Characteristics that enables growth in every believers life. Step 1 is to know which Characteristics should be part of a Christian’s Character. Activate all these Characteristics and then start growing in them.

In His Service for His own

Every promise God gives to us is connected to something we need to do. Not that we can deserve anything God promises, but the actions we need to take are critical. When we do these simple tasks as the bible clearly explains in every promise we start the process of growth.

God has addressed some things you do that needed to change and you are addressing it.

God always addresses certain behavior in our lives. It might be something we have not done or something we should do or even the way we should be doing it. Although a conviction like this can be life changing the difficult part for most believers is to continue with this until it becomes part of our Character.

Resolute Steadfastness

Standing with your godly choices are important. You remain to what you have decided, steadfastly.

Part of your Spiritual growth journey is to share your revelation with other believers. This is part of the Discipleship process but it is critical for growth. We never teach others what the outcome of the revelation from God was, but we always share the revelation. What we have learnt from God’s nature or the way He sees things.

Natural Brotherly Affection

Spending time to share with other believers what God has done for you are critical and I spend time encouraging them with what God has shown me and done for me.

Spiritual growth starts when we are forced to take a hard look at our-selves. Not through our own eyes, but through the eyes of God. We can only see the need of growth and change when we look from God’s standard. As soon as we discover our lack staring through the eyes of perfection, the revelation God brings to us reveals the change that needs to come. Without this discovery there can be no change.

Exposed Knowledge

God has revealed something about your Character that you did not know. You have prayed about this and you are trusting God for change.

Part of our spiritual growth process is testifying about God’s work in our lives. It is usually something we neglect, especially to those who are not Christian. Acknowledgement of God’s work is important but also Witnessing about God’s goodness or what God has done for us is critical.

Kind Charity

Witnessing to unbelievers about what you have learnt about God’s Character is important. You take specific time to give acknowledgement about God’s goodness.

Tough times can only be overcome by Christians that have a Promise they can hold on to. Do you have a promise God has given you that can stand scrutiny? Is it the truth? Was the promise made to you?

This area is discussed in the TREE TRUNK book in the Truthful Promises Chapter.

Truthful promise

You have discovered a Promise God has given you, to really hold on to during Winter Season.

God brings conviction to us in our behavior. Taking action on this is critical. Knowing we are wrong is something we are doing or not doing is only half the battle. If our conviction does not lead to taking up self-control to change of our behavior, there will be no growth.

Temperate Self-control

God has revealed something about your Character that need to change. You have applied self-control to change your behavior.

The most important part of growth is when our Character is changed into the Image of Christ. We see the way He sees things and that changes our behavior. We love more, we trust more, we have more patience. We will never be the same again. If there has been no change, there has been no growth.

It is critical to change into the image of Christ and therefore I am being changed into the image of Christ Jesus.

Most believers think they know how faith works. the reality is that we might trust God, but do we have faith in the promise God has given. Is there something your are trusting God for? Something he promised that you can hold on to during tough times?
